6:52 — FINAL SCORE: Georgia 42, Kentucky 13

6:32 — Sony Michel’s only other 3 rushing TD game was against Troy his freshman year.

6:31 — TOUCHDOWN GEORGIA: Michel with a 4 yard run. His third of the night. It’s 42-13 with 10:59 left.

6:25 — Georgia’s defense forces another 3 and out. It’s second of the game. Wildcats punt it back to the UGA 40. Dawgs hoping to put this thing away for good.

6:22 — Chubb now passes Gurley for total TDs in a career. He’s also over 1,000 yards for the third time in his career.

6:19 –TOUCHDOWN GEORGIA: Chubb with a 55 yard TD Run. His longest of the season. UGA leads 35-13 with 14:17 left in the fourth quarter.

6:14 — END OF THIRD QUARTER: Georgia 28, Kentucky 13

6:11 — Aaron Davis had an interception in his first home game vs Clemson in 2014 and now he has one in his final home game.

6:09 — Interception Georgia: Senior Aaron Davis with an interception. UK tried to throw out of Wildcat and it didn’t work.

6:03 — D’Andre Baker gets UGA’s 2nd sack of the game to end UK’s drive. UGA ball after the punt at its 15.

5:55 — That was a six play drive. All runs.

5:55 — TOUCHDOWN GEORGIA: Michel with an 8 yard score. His 2nd of the day. It’s 27-13 with 8:16 left in the third quarter.

5:47 –Touchdown Kentucky: Benny Snell with a one yard TD run. Wildcats back in it. It’s 21-13 with 11:29 left in third quarter.

5:18 — HALFTIME: Georgia 21, Kentucky 6: Instant analysis — This is a little more like it for Georgia. After a pretty sluggish start, Georgia appears to have gotten things back on track. Whether it was senior day, or a bit of a hangover from Auburn, the first 15 minutes were a bit clunky. Not as much in the second quarter. Jake Fromm had two terrific passes, hitting Javon Wims for UGA’s second TD. Wims has six catches for 83 yards. That’s the most receptions by any UGA receiver this year.  He’s closing in on UGA’s first 100 yard game this year. Fromm is 8-for-12 for 108 yards. Kentucky has the worst pass defense in the SEC and it’s not posing much on an issue right now for UGA.

But Georgia isn’t anything if it can’t run the ball. After getting 46 yards last week, the Dawgs are up to 123 yards in the first half. Both Nick Chubb and Sony Michel have TDs in the final home game. Michel’s was spectacular. A well timed draw on 3rd and seven, led to a score that was born out of pure speed. I’m going to miss watching those guys.

On the other side of the ball, it feels like Kentucky has ran the ball better than it really has. The Wildcats are averaging 3.3 yards per carry, with Benny Snell at 33 yards on nine carries for the half. He had six yards on the ground in the second quarter.

UK QB Stephen Johnson hasn’t posed much of a threat. Johnson is 8-for-16 for 87 yards, which includes that lucky 45 yard catch by Blake Bone in the first quarter. The Wildcats have 140 total yards.

The penalties could be better though. UGA had 4 for 30 in the first half. But UGA seems well positioned to run the table at home for the first time since 2012 and sweep the SEC East.

5:17 — UK goes for it on 4th down but fails UGA ball on its 31 yard line.

5:11 — TOUCHDOWN GEORGIA: Sony Michel with a 37 yard score on a 3rd down draw. Just pure speed. UGA is up 21-6 with 1:51 left in half.

5:04 — Isaiah Wynn is back after coming off the field in the last series.

5:04 — UGA’s defense gets its first 3 and out of the game. 20 yard return by Hardman puts ball at UGA 49.

4:59 — TOUCHDOWN GEORGIA: Fromm hits Wims from 27 yards. UGA leads 14-6 4:56 left in the half.

4:56 — That’s the 10th time UGA has ran it on first down. 0 passes.

4:52 — It took 11 plays for Kentucky to get to the UGA 40…but they finally have to punt, which goes in the end zone for a touchback.

4:35 — UGA fails on third and short and goes 3-and-out. Nizialek with a good punt back to the UK 15.

4:28 — END OF FIRST QUARTER: Georgia 7, Kentucky 6 –– Instant analysis: Well if you were looking for an angry Georgia team to just come crashing through the banner and squash Big Blue instantly, that has not happened.

UGA’s offense started extremely sluggish, with an Fromm interception and with three offensive penalties in the first two drives. But Kentucky committed a bigger one by roughing Georgia punter Cameron Nizialek and keeping the Dawgs second drive alive. Georgia converted by running the ball very well, all the way to the end zone. Georgia has rushed for 66 yards in the first quarter, which is 20 more than they had in the entire game last week. Redshirt freshman Ben Cleveland made a key block that led to Chubb’s TD run.

Georgia’s defense is getting tested a bit by the SEC’s second leading rusher Benny Snell and Snell is getting plenty of work with 27 yards and six carries in the first period. UK took advantage of a UGA turnover for its first score and then QB Stephen Johnson hit Blake Bone on a miracle catch to set up FG No. 2.

Bottom line: Kentucky is competent and UGA might have to work for win No. 10.

4:27 — Field goal Kentucky: MacGinnis with a 35 yarder. UGA still leads 7-6 with 11 seconds left in the first quarter.

4:21 — UGA with 66 rushing yards so far. Dawgs had 46 last week.

4:20 — TOUCHDOWN GEORGIA: Nick Chubb with an 8 yard run. UGA leads 7-0 with 3:19 left in first quarter.

4:13 — Chuck Dowdle on the UGA sidelines: Nizialek went in and out of the injury tent pretty quickly. Seems ready to go .

4:09 — Nizialek walks off on his own power.

4:07 — UGA’s second drive is 3 and out. But UK is hit with roughing the punter. So Dawgs keep ball but Nikialek is hurt.

4:04 — Dawgs already hit with 3 penalties in the first seven minutes of the game. One didn’t count because it was offsetting. So that’s nice. UGA looking pretty sloppy to start.

3:58 — Field goal Kentucky: Austin MacGinnis hits a 37 yard FG. UK leads 3-0 with 9:40 left in first quarter.

3:52 — Interception Kentucky. Josh Allen picks it off. 5th INT for Fromm this year. UK ball at UGA 32.

3:43 p.m. — Kentucky calls heads and wins. They defer. UGA ball.
