Georgia will wear black jerseys Saturday for a home game against Louisiana-Lafayette.

3:26 — FINAL SCORE: Georgia 35, ULL 21

3:19 –Fourth quarter yards: ULL 207, UGA 82.

3:18 — Touchdown ULL: Jennings with a one yard run. Georgia still leads 35-21 with 1:34 left.

3:10 — Lambert’s first series is a 3-and-out. ULL ball at its 25 after a punt.

3:09 — Greyson Lambert comes in for the first time since the Nicholls game.

3:04 — Touchdown ULL: Anthony Jennings with a 13 yard run against the UGA second string. Georgia still leads 35-14 with 4:50 left.

2:55 — 207 rushing yards by ULL is the most allowed by UGA this season. Previous high was 186 by UK

2:51 — This is the most points Georgia has scored this season and the Dawgs biggest lead of the season.

2:49 — TOUCHDOWN GEORGIA: Eason hits Chubb on a 49 yarder. The longest reception of his career. Dawgs lead 35-7 with 9:35 left.

2:44 — For the third time today Georgia stuffs ULL on fourth down. Dawgs ball on its 45 with 10:37 left in the game.

2:40 — After a lengthy review, Sony Michel fumbles. ULL ball at the 20. Six turnover of the game. Four for ULL and 2 for UGA

2:28 — END OF THIRD QUARTER: Georgia 28, Louisiana-Lafayette 7: Instant analysis — Georgia only got one full possession in that quarter and took advantage of it with a long 93 yard drive that saw Nick Chubb cross the 100 yard mark for the second straight game with a 30+ yard run. Chubb continues to get closer to his old self as with a burst we haven’t seen in a while.

Isaiah McKenzie also had a beautiful catch that put the Dawgs near the goal line leading to the score.

ULL has moved the ball on its two drives, crossing mid field, but hasn’t done anything in UGA territory.

Slowly but surely UGA is taking control.

2:22 –ULL is 6-for-11 on third downs and 0-for-2 on fourth downs. Trenton Thompson with a big stop on 4th and 1. UGA ball at its 42.

2:14 –TOUCHDOWN GEORGIA: Nick Chubb with a one yard TD run. Georgia leads 28-7 with 4:45 left in third quarter.

2:08 — Chubb over 100 yards for the second straight game, fourth time this season and 17th time in his career.

2:06 — ULL gets a couple of first downs on its first drive of the half, but punts. Dawgs ball at the UGA 7.

1:59 — ULL now 6 for 9 on third downs.

END OF FIRST HALF: Georgia 21, Louisiana-Lafayette 7: Instant analysis — Well, as exciting as this game started, the flow has sort of slowed to a halt through much of the second quarter. Georgia hasn’t exactly played a perfect game, but it has been decent against a ULL team with a bit of talent.

Georgia is only out gaining the Ragin’ Cajuns 194-190. Of course McKenzie’s punt return skews that a bit. ULL hasn’t done much in the air save for an Anthony Jennings 64 yard pass to Al Riles that set up the only TD for ULL. Otherwise, Jennings is 6-for-15 for 98 yards with three interceptions.

Georgia has forced four turnovers in this game, but only picked up seven points from it. UGA did finally get a touchdown in the red zone for the first time since the Florida game. Eason had a great play action pass to Isaac Nauta.

But it is very windy and making it very tough for Eason and Jennings.

“It’s affecting the passing game for both teams,” said UGA coach Kirby Smart. “Hard to hit shot plays.”

UGA is out rushing ULL 143-92. Nick Chubb has 65 yards on nine carries, while Michel has 28 on nine carries.

Georgia should probably be winning by more, but that’s how it goes in 2016.

1:32 –Interception Georgia: Malcolm Parrish with the pick at the UGA 25. Third pick of the day and fourth turnover for UGA.

1;30 — You can tell it’s a windy day. Jennings 5-for-13 for 92 yards with 2 INTs. Eason 5-for-9 for 51 yards with one TD and INT.

1:28 — Dawgs go 3 and out. ULL ball at its 32 with 57 seconds left.

1:27 — Georgia not very aggressive with 1:59 left in the half. Couple of run plays get two yards. Crowd boos and ULL calls time out.

1:23 — Touchdown Louisiana-Lafayette: Jennings with a nine yard run. Georgia leads 21-7 with 2:04 left.

1:18 — That is Georgia’s first red zone TD since Florida. UGA was 0 for its last five.

1:15 — TOUCHDOWN GEORGIA: Eason on a 10 yard pass to Nauta. Easy play action pass. Georgia leads 21-0 with 2:50 left in half.

1:14–McKenzie injured on a sweep at the ULL 5. But he’s walking off on his own.

1:11 — Alright now some action. Lorenzo Carter recovers the fumble at the ULL 45. Reggie Carter forced the fumble.

1:07 — Ramsey punts it away to the ULL 30 yard line. Cajuns ball. Things have slowed to a halt here after a fast start.

1:04 — Call is overturned. UGA keeps the ball. at the 37. But can’t covert the 3rd down.

1:01 — It’s under review, but a Michel fumble was returned by ULL all the way for a TD. Georgia plays confused they thought he was down.

12:59 — ULL turns it over on downs at the UGA 28 yard line. Dawgs still up 14-0 with 8:25 left in 2nd quarter.

12:41 — Tipped pass by Eason is intercepted by ULL’s Walker. Ragin’ Cajuns ball at the UGA 47

12:34 — END OF FIRST QUARTER: Georgia 14, Louisiana-Lafayette 0. Instant analysis — So that is a pretty good start isn’t it? First touch for the UGA offense, Isaiah McKenzie runs for a 55 yard TD. First touch by the UGA defense is an interception and the first touch by the Georgia punt team is an 82 yard TD by McKenzie.

Why did it take the Dawgs eight years to wear black uniforms again? (Just kidding).

Seriously though, through one quarter, Georgia has put its foot down like it should against the Ragin’ Cajuns. UGA is out gaining ULL 111-65. If you could make any complaint, it’s Georgia didn’t get any points after the first interception, but Jacob Eason was throwing into a stiff breeze.

ULL is running the ball ok at 4.3 yards per carry, but the Dawgs are controlling this game like they should for the first time all season.

12:29 — Georgia came to play today. However, the fans not quite so much. This place might be 75 percent full. Lots of empty seats in student section

12:28 –Interception for Georgia. Aaron Davis with the pick. Second turnover of the day for ULL. Dawgs ball at their 8.

12:21 — That is also a career long punt return for McKenzie

12:20 — McKenzie is now the UGA record holder with 6 total return TDs and 5 punt return TDs.

12:19 — TOUCHDOWN GEORGIA: McKenzie with an 82 yard punt return TD. Georgia leads 14-0 with 8:30 left in first quarter.

12:10 — The wind is blowing so hard, Georgia has to punt instead of trying a 47 yard FG. ULL ball at its 5 yard line.

12:06 –First offensive play for ULL is an interception by Baker to ULL 42

12:03 — TOUCHDOWN GEORGIA: First play of the game, McKenize with a 55 yard run. Georgia leads 7-0 with 14:37 left in first quarter.

12:00 p.m. — ULL wins the toss but will defer. Georgia ball to start.
